AI SLACK BOT

  1. Utilized Django framework to develop an AI bot, supported by OpenAI, as a valuable resource for employees to efficiently seek answers to frequently asked questions from the publicly available company documentation.
  2. Collaborated with a team of four to revamp the bot from its original texting service functionality to integrate seamlessly with Google Docs as the primary data source, while incorporating Slack as the user interface.
  3. Played a pivotal role in designing and implementing a flexible flow system, empowering administrators to create custom workflows and forms.
  4. Took a hands-on approach in optimizing user interactions and responses, encompassing tasks such as enhancing the Slack user interface, refactoring existing code to align with the new system, and developing API endpoints to handle incoming requests.
  5. Contributed to the integration of Google Docs, leveraging the capability to extract information from company documents. By utilizing OpenAI, we employed text summarization techniques to generate succinct and relevant responses based on user queries, thereby enhancing the searchability and usability of the embedded data.

Event Booking Website

  1. Successfully launched and maintained a dynamic website for over a year and a half, hosting 250 virtual and live events across 10 cities in collaboration with 5 organizations, serving a total of 900 employees, resulting in nearly 2000 sign ups.
  2. Designed, created, and implemented the Event Booking Site using Django framework, resulting in an efficient platform for organizing and managing company events.
  3. Managed the platform’s operations, ensuring seamless event registration, engagement, and accessibility, resulting in increased participation and enhanced collaboration within the targeted professional community.
  4. Collaborated with the department head to release new versions and successfully maintained the platform as the go-to solution for event hosting and registration within the company.

Reserve Office Time

  1. Developed a dynamic calendar application that enabled employees to reserve office time based on department or building capacity, ensuring compliance with Covid restrictions.
  2. Designed the application to be scalable, allowing for easy integration of new sites, updates to capacity limits, and the inclusion of new departments as our business expanded.
  3. Implemented a robust reporting feature, granting supervisors and admins access to detailed daily activity breakdowns by days, departments, or hours, facilitating effective monitoring of office traffic levels.
